Don’t try to wipe off the walls while the paint is fresh, let it dry properly.  Even on completely dry walls, it is best not to use aggressive cleaners. When there’s too much pressure applied in cleaning, you will often see some eroding and burnishing. Mild soaps and gentle sponges are quite enough to keep the walls clean and paint looking good.
